Stars Aflame Record Sheets
I recently published a Stars Aflame supplement for the Empires Aflame BattleTech Alternate Universe that I had fun making. Many people asked me to make Record Sheets of the changed designs available for the players and now I have done so. I've uploaded two sets of record sheets, one for the standard Prime timeline modifications, and a Spectral II Project that includes LAMs from other fan projects and increased technological and mass specifications. I do hope you have fun with them. :)

Empires Aflame
Welcome back to all you fun people out there. I'm still alive, though have had other matters to take care of. But the recent publishing of Empires Aflame has caused some excitement and I just uploaded some of the more interesting things I've seen published for it. DarthRad's Field Manual Terran Supremacy and my Stars Aflame fan supplements are now available on P.R.I. for anyone to download. I hope you enjoy them.

HeavyMetal With Clans!!! In Space!!!!
Snake Eyes has updated his TRO 3145 files for HeavyMetal Pro, HeavyMetal BattleArmor, and HeavyMetal Vee to include the marauding Clans. And now we can finally shoot some of those bad guys in true HeavyMetal combat. ;) He has also brought HeavyMetal Aero into the fold, with a nice spread of designs now available to play with. This is a truly good day for some virtual mayhem. :)

Gencon, Facebook, and HeavyMetal, Oh My!
First off, I'm off to see the wizard at Gencon! Hope to see some of you there. :)

Secondly, I've got a Facebook page now. Yeah, it took me a while to make it, but sometimes even old grognards like me find a new leaf. I've been uploading old CG pictures I have in my archives that I like up there. There are lots of really good fan artists out there. Anyways, check me out if you are interested. hehehe. Pryde Rock Industries on Facebook

Thirldy, Snake Eyes has done it again, this time bringing the Lyran Commonwealth designs of TRO 3145 to both HeavyMetal Pro and HeavyMetal BattleArmor. He's also completely redone the TRO 3075 file for HeavyMetal Pro, updating it to the newest Catalyst version of the TRO, so you get to play with a bunch of new stuff they added in that book too.

Fourthly, I don't need the fourth. I have a Wookie. :) Have fun all, and seeya on the flipside of Gencon.

Celebrating Independence Day with more things that go BOOM
Snake Eyes has added more vehicles to HeavyMetal Vee from TRO 3145. I do hope you love the things that make other things go kablooie in that TRO. :)

HeavyMetal and the Free Worlds League of 3145
Snake Eyes has updated the HeavyMetal Pro to include most of the BattleMechs currently released in the 3145 series of TROs, including the Free Worlds League. He has done a real good job here and I hope you enjoy them.

HeavyMetal travels to 3145
Snake Eyes has brought this time travel edition of HeavyMetal to my greedy little fingers. Select BattleMechs for HeavyMetal Pro, vehicles for HeavyMetal Vee, and BattleArmor for HeavyMetal BattleArmor all make an appearance in this sampling of what the future has in store for the grand children of those who saw the Star League restored.

New HeavyMetal Files
Snake Eyes has sent me three more files for HeavyMetal. An updated XTRO set for HeavyMetal BattleArmor and an updated XTRO set and a 3067U set for HeavyMetal Pro. I hope you can love them and hold them and call them...wait...I may have gone off on a tangent there. Anyways, I hope you can make use of them. :)

New Uploads to Celebrate the Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a happy holiday season, a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and all that jazz. :)

Now to celebrate for BattleTech, Snake Eyes has sent me more files for HeavyMetal Aero, and HeavyMetal Vee, gleaned from TRO 3085 Cutting Edge. As with the other TRO 3085 files, I have added them to the Snake Eyes versions to give credit where credit is due.

I have also added links and uploads for the two Java-based BattleMech designers that I know of. You can find QuickMech and Solaris Skunk Werks by following those links. SSW has of course been around for a while and is probably the most used free design program. QuickMech is very new, and is also a free program. I am very impressed by how quickly the author makes changes to make the program more usable for the end users.

HeavyMetal, MechCommander, and Random Pilots, (Sulu voice) Oh My...(/Sulu voice)
Snake Eyes has sent me some further files for TRO 3085 that I did not make in my initial pass, as well as sending me some updates of more designs from TRO Prototypes. These updates can be found for HeavyMetal Pro, HeavyMetal Aero, and HeavyMetal Vee. I hope you like these expanded options for using the canon designs with the HeavyMetal programs.
Also, thanks to Trace Coburn of the CBT forums, I have now added a story form of the MechCommander Opening Cinema to my website under the official fiction section of my creative page. I hope you enjoy this treatment of the original MechCommander game.
Finally, ralgith a.k.a. Dylan Myers has recently produced a new generator for randomizing pilots that can work on any operating system that can run php files. This Random Pilot Skills Generator is very cool and I really like it.
I hope you all enjoy these files.

HeavyMetal Updates
In recent months, I have performed a heavy upgrade on my HeavyMetal page. I have performed some reorganization on the datafiles for each program. I have also added the latest update posted for each program, and the custom eq files that make the Total War generation of equipment available for use in the HeavyMetal Programs. I have also added files that include the designs from TRO 3075, TRO 3085, TRO Prototypes, and the XTROs. This is a very major update that has taken a while to do. I did most of the designs from 3075 and 3085, sometimes using files created earlier by the MechWarrior Dark Age Record Sheets Team and by Karagin. Snake Eyes did the files for Prototypes and the XTROs. I do hope these files will prove useful to you.

BattleForce Cards and TRO 3075
I have completed a recent update of the BattleForce Cards that makes all of the Inner Sphere 'Mechs short of the Solaris designs in 3055 Upgrade and the newest TRO 3085 available. I also have generated PDFs of all of the base TRO configs for those designs which can be printed out. TRO 3075 is the last set of files updated so far. And thanks to Karagin, I now have a collection of design files for TRO 3075 for use in the HeavyMetal Pro program. I hope you can find a use for these new files. :)

BattleForce Cards
The 3050 Clan and 3055 Clan and Inner Sphere BattleForce Cards have been uploaded. All Inner Sphere units are included, assorted Clan units are included.

BattleForce Cards
The 2750, 3025, and 3050 BattleForce Cards have been updated with all 'Mech classes now represented. Not all configurations are represented. Also, the stat files now only have PNG files to save space.

BattleForce Cards
I got some new BattleForce Cards up. All of the TROs have blank cards with the picture on them so you can write the stats in using HMPencil if you wish. ;) I've also uploaded a rather large number of cards with full stats on them. These are mainly the ones that I'm actually using in games, so they are NOT all of the designs out there. Still, I hope you use them and have fun. I've had fun making them.

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas all. And never say I didn't give you all something for Christmas. ;) So here it is. I've been custom designing some BattleForce Cards that are the same size as trading or collectible cards that can be used to play BattleForce or the QuickStrike rules and are really cool for introducing new players to the game. I hope you can put these to use as I have greatly enjoyed playing with them. :)

Happy New Year With New Tokens
Well, the Christmas season has passed us by, a New Year is upon us, and I bring you some token gifts of my thanks to all of those who frequent this site. Well...actually I suppose it is Bedwyr that brings the gifts. I'm just hosting them. ;) They are new and very cool tokens designed for use with the Strategic Operations BattleForce rules. I of course plan to use them for modified "Double Blind" rules where the people on my table keep track of which "radar blip" is which unit until they get an eyeball on the unit. Should be fun, and WON'T force the use of three tables in all. Hehehe.

Defense Database Files Uploaded
In Human Sphere news, I've added and updated some HeavyMetal zip files of a large number of designs used in the Human Sphere. These are mostly the generic designs that can be seen everywhere, along with a good representation of DropShips, JumpShips, and WarShips throughout the Sphere. I also have detailed vehicles, BattleMechs, and Fighters used by the Terran Reaches and the Draconis Rifts and plan to expand in the future. They can be found on the Master Design List page. I hope you enjoy them and thanks all for the support in reading and commenting on the Human Sphere.

Gamer's Reunion
I know this isn't my typical announcement, but next month I'm taking part in a new gaming convention in Rochester, Minnesota. I'll be running BattleTech there. If any of you are in driving distance, I'd love to see you there, and if you know people in the area, tell them they are welcome too. :)

More Spaceship Files
I have updated the TRO 3057 files for HeavyMetal Aero and have added a file for DropShips and JumpShip and for BattleSpace with designs in them that were not shown in the TROs or were not shown accurately. I hope you get use out of these designs as they are rather interesting. :)

Tuesday, June 17, 2008
TRO 3057 Spaceship Files
I now finally am hosting a set of files for HeavyMetal Aero that give stats for the canon spaceships in use in the BattleTech universe. This is the first collection of files I know of that show the canon ships and I hope you are able to get good playing time out of them.

Human Sphere Updates
I've been spending the last several months putting most of my time into updating the Human Sphere, listing the major designs that each nation uses, designing and fluffing the "generic" units everybody uses, and now pushing up fluff and stats for said units. I also recently began the process of putting in a link to where the miniature for each design can be purchased after obtaining the approval of the Iron Wind Metals. The main Support Designs page and the Master List page has those units so far created complete with links to any IWM miniatures I have been able to find. If I have missed any, please message me. Also, if you have any ideas for miniatures that are currently in production that can be used for any of the designs that do NOT have an IWM miniature, please tell me. I'm open to "stand ins" and whatnot. :)

Cyberboard
Thanks to Jimmy the Tulip, I have uploaded the main Cyberboard program and a gamebox that allows you to play the Succession Wars game on it. Very cool and thanks much dude. :)

Forums, Industries, and Human Sphere, Oh My!
Yeah, It's been a while since I've updated this bad boy. I've been working on the Human Sphere for a long time, which has left P.R.I. to suffer with few updates. I have several in the waiting but I do have something which should make things easier for you all. I now have a Forum complete with file uploading abilities. If you have creations that you want other people to use and check out, join the forum and feel free to share them. Note that normal users do not have the ability to upload, a protection against spammers pushing up "Special" files, so you'll need to PM me with a request to have your permissions modded to allow for that. I hope this function will be of use to some of you gallant file creators, especially those of whom still have files in my To Do List. Ahem. Finally, I reorganized my links a little bit over on the side and added a button for the BattleTech Industries site. This is a backup of the old Crouton Command site that was shut down a long time ago by its creator. I host it here so that it will never be lost.

MechWarrior 3rd Skill Advancement Calculator
If you've ever felt your brain overheating from trying to figure out how much it costs for a character to advance a skill in MechWarrior 3rd, then this is the sheet for you. You enter in the char's attributes and relevant traits, and this sheet will calculate everything for you. Way frakking cool. :-)

MechWarrior 3rd Character Sheet for Word
Jim Lytle designed a very good Word character sheet for MechWarrior 3rd many years ago. About four years ago, Jason Stadnyk gave me a modified version that fit the format of MechWarrior 3rd's Companion. Well, I recently modified that sheet so I could work with my MechWarrior 3rd characters and I'm posting my version up now for you all to use if you wish. It has higher resolution graphics taken via screenshot from the official documents and I've changed the text areas to couier new font so typing into them no longer causes the data fields to move around. I hope you like this small update of the work that the other fans created. :-)

MechWarrior 1st Vehicles and Robots
Ravi M was kind enough to send me a series of files for use in HeavyMetal Vee that include the original stats for vehicles and robots published in MechWarrior 1st. This is a very cool look into one of the oldest publications in the BattleTech universe. Very cool and very very fun to play with. Thanks Ravi M. :-)

Mercenary Budget Sheet
I just uploaded another Mercenary Budget Sheet, this one courtesy of Erewhon, to P.R.I. and let me tell you this is a nice one. Easy to work with, easy to expand, easy to tweak, and very quick and to the point. It uses Periphery FM Revised rules and is really bloody nice. I'd suggest you try this one out.

Ever wanted to use RUS to generate random dates for campaign events? Well, now you can thanks to Ralgith who very nicely sent me some files for that. Cool.

More Goodies from Bedwyr
It has been a while since I last updated, thanks to a number of reasons including major computer problems. I'll try to be more regular in the future, especially as I still have stuff in my P.R.I. to do list for all you guys that have sent me stuff. For now, here's a bunch of stuff from Bedwyr.

He sent me some more BattleTech counters, for TROs 3055, 3058, 3060, 3067, and Project Phoenix. That is all of the TROs not counting the updated ones with new art. Very cool. He also sent me some new tables for use in playing AeroTech 2, BattleForce 2, and BattleTech. If you thought that the last ones rocked (and I did), I think you'll fall in love with the new ones. Yeah. Bedwyr rules. ;-)

Tables, Counters, and Budgets, Oh My!
First off in this edition of P.R.I. updates is Khan Joseph Mallan's reupdated Mercenary Budget and Creation Sheet. Now I haven't installed Office yet on my new computer so I haven't been able to look at this version, but he does excellent work and I'll push his stuff up even sight unseen. :-)

Also, Bedwyr has been waiting for a while for me to get off my duff and actually push up several very nice pdf files he sent me. The first are a set of Tables for use in AeroTech 2 and BattleForce 2. They are easily some of the best player-made tables I have seen for the games. Very impressive. He also sent me some BattleMech Counters that you can print off and use to play BattleTech with. TRO's 2750, 3025, and 3050 are currently represented here. Thanks very much Bedwyr.

Mercenary Budget and Creator Sheet
Khan Joseph Mallan, a dude that has helped me in the past to bring very important files to the BattleTech community, has recently written and sent me an excel spreadsheet that helps you create and run a mercenary unit. So go here to check it out and I hope you like it as well as I do.

Crouton Command Download Option
Some of you know that I have been hosting the old Crouton Command BattleTech Industries site on P.R.I. for some time now. I had planned on updating but other matters have caught my attention. I doubt I will ever be able to complete updating, but the original Crouton Command is hosted here and will be for as long as P.R.I. is around. At least that is my plan. In the meantime, I have been asked to make a download of the site available, like the one that the original maintainer of Crouton Command had. Therefore, I have generated a zip file and uploaded it to the account. I have also edited the relevant download pages to point to the new location and give directions that work with my zip file. Beyond that change, Crouton Command is as it was when developement on it ceased. I hope you enjoy the website, as I have long loved it myself.

Support Vehicle Worksheet
I have also recently been given a new version of the Support Vehicle Worksheet written by Josh “Maverick” Helton that allows anyone with access to Excel, or I believe OpenOffice, to design your very own support vehicles. I hope you enjoy this sheet as much as I do. It is people like Maverick, and the others who are currently in my "to-do bin", who help keep BattleTech alive and give this website a reason to exist. Thanks to all of you for that.

Battle Value Regimental Balancer
Have you ever had a LARGE number of units you wanted to send into battle or compare? Did you want to do while taking into account the piloting and gunnery numbers of said units? Well, if so, today is your lucky day. Bedwyr has sent me a handy little utility that works great for that. The Regimental Balancer can take Inner Sphere Regiments and similar-sized Clan units and compare their total BVs to each other. Very nice spreadsheet and very useful IMHO.

Support Vehicle Spreadsheet and Exodus Road
I have added the newester version of the Support Vehicle Spreadsheet by Maverick to my website. Sorry for the long time it took dude. I've also added a Retail Websites area to my links page where sites not officially affiliated with Fanpro who sell BattleTech will be listed. The first site to be listed in that area is Exodus Road. I have heard friends say that they like this website for ordering miniatures. If you have another websites you would like added to this area, please tell me and I will add them.

Happy Holidays
It's that time of year again. Time to light the holiday candelabra for some. Or to decorate the giving tree. Or maybe even to burn the holiday log. It is a season of giving, when blowup statues of Santa Claus dance in your front yards. It is a time of making snowmen (for those of us who live in colder climates) or simply relaxing with a cup of good cheer. It is a time to remember what the year has been like, and to make promises to ourselves about what we will do right in the year ahead. Promises we know we can't follow but we'll try for a few days anyways. Time to remember that calories don't count if someone else eats more than you. In short, it is a time to get together with family and to celebrate another year. May you all have good times this holiday season.

Happy Holidays.

Ah, bah Humbug. Political Correctness just doesn't become me. ;-)

Let your Menorahs shine bright if you have them. Let all the world see your Christmas tree. May a nativity scene be arrayed somewhere near. I hope you get the chance to light a Yule Log, and in the ways of an old song, may your Yule Tide be gay. And may Saint Nicholas be remembered in your house for why he did what he did. To celebrate a child. To give children surprises and joy on the morning of the Christ Mass. May your holiday season be filed with such joy, and may your surprises be many.

And Merry Christmas.

From P.R.I. to you.

Medron Pryde :-)

Address Change and a Thank You
I just recently found out from my website monitoring service that my old pri.mgonetwork.com address ceased to work around 3 weeks ago. My http://www.pryderockindustries.com address works perfectly though. Please, if you know of anyone who is still linking to the old address, either tell them my new address or tell me so I can tell them. My google ranking dropped a couple slots and I'd like to go back up. ;-)

And on a similar note, thank you to everyone who has sent me stuff and otherwise supported this site. It wouldn't be here without your help. :-)

Never Forget
Four years ago, our people were attacked. Attacked by people who chose to target those who could not defend themselves to make their point. People who have continued to kill the weak amongst us since then. In America, Spain, England, Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, and in other countries they have targeted those who do nothing more than live their lives from one day to the next. Their choice targets are not those who carry guns, or who are ready to protect themselves or others. Their choice target is the father or mother coming home from work. The child coming home from school. They kill the families, hoping to terrify other families into wondering if they are next. To be fearful of leaving their house. Their goal is to stop the common people from living their lives. To make the lives of everyone as terrible as possible. And then, when those around them are fearful, they will offer them a way to live, but only if the common people swear to support them. To allow them to store weapons or people in their houses. To allow them to torture and murder in their houses. Because they are afraid of what these people will do if they don't.

Never forget what these people are willing to do. Never forget those they have killed in their pursuit of terror. Take this day of rest and remember how you felt when the planes hit the towers. Remember how you felt when trains and buses exploded. Remember the broken bodies of men, women, and children lying on the pavement. Remember those who jumped rather than burn to death forty stories above the ground.

Never forget.

And tomorrow go to work. Go to school. Do the one thing they fear the most. Live your life. Take the plane. Ride a bus. Drive a car. Take your bicycle out on the street for spin. Live your life.

But never ever forget.

Never Forget

Hurricane Relief
Hurricane Katrina has changed many lives completely, and has done great damage to people, companions, and property. If you have not been harmed by this catastrophe, please donate to help those who have been hurt. Operation Blessing, The Salvation Army, and of course The Red Cross are accepting donations to aid the human suffering. And The Humane Society is looking for donations to help the numerous companions wounded by the tragedy. Cats, dogs, and other companions are hurt by this as much as any human and need to be rescued and cared for just as much. Please help those who have been harmed to rebuild their lives with a small donation to one or more of these organizations devoted to helping those in need.

Mapscale DropShips
Well dudes and dudettes, I've been given some nice new pdf files that allow people to print out DropShips in map scale for use on BattleTech maps. They are of the most common BattleMech carriers in existance, the Leopard, Union, and Overlord, so I hope you all can get some fun out of using them. I know I will. :-)

Mercenary Budget Sheets
Billy Compton sent me a new version of his Mercenary Budget Sheet that is a significant improvement over the first. If you liked the first, take version 2 for a test drive. I think you'll like it. :-)

Mercenary Budget Sheets
Billy Compton sent me a new version of a Mercenary Budget Sheet designed by Chris Thompson that updates the old sheet work with the rules in the Revised Mercenary Field Manual. I hope you like it and thank you very much for sending it to me dude.

MechWarrior 3rd and Support Vehicles Update
Discord has sent me some new MechWarrior 3rd worksheets that allow you to easily handle skills and traits with your characters. A very nice little set of PDF sheets IMHO. Thanks for sending them dude. Also, Josh "Maverick" Helton has sent me his nice new Support Vehicles Worksheet that allows you to design support vehicles via MS Excel. Another very nice utility for those of us who play BattleTech.

Thanks to all of you who support BattleTech for continuing to give this website a reason to exist.

ProtoMechs 'R Us!
Some of you may remember some time ago when I acquired the ProtoMech Construction Utility, and some of you definately remembered that I have it on my site. JoePsycho sent me all of the canon ProtoMechs so I could upload them and pass them out to all of you lucky people. Click here to see the lovely new ProtoMechs.

Human Sphere
For those of you not at HMP and who are interested in my Human Sphere, I've uploaded the Draconis Rifts, the Federation Expanse, the Capellan Rump States, the Free Worlds League, the Lyran Commonwealth, and most of the Clan states. On HMP I have all of the Clan states and the Outer Sphere pirates fluffed as well. I hope you are enjoying this alternate future history of BattleTech.

Human Sphere Update
For those of you who don't know, I've been working on an alternate future history of the Inner Sphere for many months now. It takes the Jihad in a different direction, including the fragmentation of the Inner Sphere into a number of smaller realms. The INN site for it has recently been updated with four political summery files that detail the Ridzik's Free Tikonov Republic, the Draconis Combine, the Azami Caliphate, and the Proserpina Syndicate. If you have not been keeping up with the thread on HMP that details these, or even if you have, I hope you enjoy this reading. I have spent much time on it and find it to be an enjoyable process that has helped me learn much more about the numerous factions in the BattleTech universe. This has proven helpful in other endevours as well of late. hehehe

HMAero 3057 Revised Files
I have uploaded a set of files for HeavyMetal Aero that includes all of the ships and spacestations in TRO 3057 Revised. These as accurate as possible to the TRO, though there are numerous discrepancies that in most cases are mere typographical errors. I hope that you enjoy these file that I and Khan Joseph Mallan have spent a long time working on.

The Drawing Board and Vehicle Factory Full Installs
Yes my friends, your days of installing the programs, then the patches, followed by unzipping reams of database files, and getting out the old tommy gun to make certain the computer cooperates, all in order to use these free programs are over, because a man named Ralgith stood up and decided he just wouldn't stand for it anymore. :-) He incorporated all of the patches and the database files into a single installation package that gets everything working in one fell swoop. Badda-bing...badda-boom. So go on over to download The Drawing Board and the Vehicle Factory right now or do I have to get rough with you? Kapish? :-)

3D Buildings
I just uploaded a set of buildings in pdf files designed to be printed out on Cardstock, cut out, folded, glued together, and placed on a board to be played around. Your game will never be the same after playing with full 3D architecture around you, and now all it costs is paper and ink.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and All That Jazz
Sorry I didn't get this up earlier, but I've been busy, sick, and busy. I hope you had a good time over your holidays and I'm pleased to have you around for another year as I continue to add more files to P.R.I. for all of you fine people to use.

Graphics and Vehicle Construction Forge
I've uploaded another set of Faction Logos from CamoSpecs thanks to the collection abilities of Khan Joseph Mallan. He is an animal, a statement I mean as a profound compliment. Hehehe. I've also uploaded some new Darkage 'Mech pictures, some Darkage Vehicle pictures, and some Darkage Infantry pictures that hopefully you can find useful. Finally, I have uploaded a new vehicle design program, the Vehicle Construction Forge. It seems to be a good program and I hope you enjoy it. Have a good day all.

More Logos and HeavyMetal Files
I have uploaded another pack of Faction Logos from CamoSpecs thanks to the collection abilities of Khan Joseph Mallan.

I have also uploaded a number of new files for the HeavyMetal programs. For HMPro there are completely new TRO files recently obtained from the HeavyMetal website, along with new MWDA files that can be loaded in HMPro. HMVee also sports updated TRO files as well as MWDA files of its own. Finally, HMLite sports a file for the 3060 ProtoMechs (including some customs) and the ProtoMechs in RS 3067.

Five Years Old!
Well guys, somewhere around this time is the official anniversary of P.R.I.. Yes, this site is now five years old, rather ancient by web standards. I've been on three main sites with the first being crosswinds IIRC. They were a free (with popups) server at the time that allowed unlimited space, something I rather needed at the time. Still do in fact. I left them to go over to the Steelcommand server, and got my first major graphics overhaul, within months of bring the website online. Actually, I DESIGNED this site to be a Steelcommand membersite. Steelcommand is now a CAV site and the old admins seem to have given up on BattleTech, but I've been through two more graphical upgrades since then. And let me tell you, the way it works now is very easy to upgrade. Much better than it ever was under the old versions. Anyways, we're five now. And it makes me feel good to know that this site has lasted so long through all of the stuff that has happened with BattleTech and with life. And remember to visit Maxgaming. They are the ones who have given me my webspace since I left Steelcommand. They are good dudes over there.

Command and Conquer Generals - The Capellan Solution

TableMaster Tables
Yes, its been a while since I've updated P.R.I., but I've been busy with family illnesses. Here is the first update in some time, new tables I've found for the TableMaster program. I hope you like the new tables and check out the places I found them at.

MegaMek Has Moved
Just under two months ago, MegaMek.com went down for some reason and was moved. You can now find it at MegaMek.Net. If you like BattleTech, and like playing it on the computer, you might want to try this out.

I finally found the program out on the internet and have now uploaded the only native Macintosh 'Mech designer, MechSpecs, that I know about. I greatly hope that it works for people.

MechWar 3D
While performing several small link checks, I noticed that MechWar 3D was gone. I did a search and found that they had moved to BattleModProductions after EvilNet wiped their site without warning. So, here is the new link to MechWar 3D. I hope you enjoy it.

Command and Conquer Generals - The Capellan Solution
An interesting looking mod for C&C Generals, this is one where you fight as the Player-Hating Crapellans, the tiny St. Ives Compact, or the wimpy SLDF. Choices, choices. Anyways, it looks like it could be good, so I've added the link to The Capellan Solution on my website. I hope others find this game to be fun.

BattleTech: Industries
Finally, after a long time of wanting to do this, I have finally begun updating the old Crouton Command BattleTech Industries site to something that is up to date in 3067. I have hosted the old site on my server, and am upgrading seperate copies so that the original Crouton Command can be saved in its current form. I am currently updating the 3067 copy to use TRO Pheonix and TRO 3067, and plan in the future on having seperate copies for 3025 and 3054 (the original Objective Raids). I may make others if they are not too difficult, one for each TRO and possibly one for the 3039 war. Those would all take lots of time though, so those are "what ifs" for the future. Anyways, here is the link for BattleTech: Industries.

Martial Olympiad
I just recently received the following message from Pidge, of the Commandos. I hope you have time to look into it.

"Warriors, we are pleased to announce the opening of the 28th Martial Olympiad. This year’s Martial Olympiad will challenge you all in ways that you have never before been challenged. The Martial Olympiad will still test your tactical prowess, and foster respect and understanding for all of those that participate, be they Inner Sphere, Periphery or the descendants of Kerensky. Like the Olympiads run during the old Star League, this tournament will determine which unit is the best of the best. Which unit has the tactical flexibility to conquer any obstacle thrown its way?

Registration for the Martial Olympiad will run from midnight GMT 1 June, 2004 until midnight GMT 24 June 2004. After this time registration will be locked. Players must register at http://www.commandohq.com.

The Martial Olympiad will open at the Origins Gaming Convention (http://www.originsgames.com), 25 June 2004, and will run until 31 August 2004. Locations where Martial Olympiad game will be run can be found at http://www.commandohq.com. Click on the venues button to see a list of retail locations nearest you and the Fanpro Commandos that will run the game at that location. This year’s Martial Olympiad will also be run at GenCon (http://www.gencon.com/indyhome.aspx?file=indy).

Also, to coincide with the Martial Olympics, Camo Specs Online will host the first annual Martial Olympics Painting Contest. For more information on this, visit their site (http://www.camospecs.com)"

DropShip Irregulars, Pryde Rock, and RUS BMR Tables
Well, I've been having some more fun of late. I just uploaded Major Tom's and Bowtie Bob's BattleMechs to the DropShip Irregulars part of this website. I've also added a new story in the tales of Pryde Rock to my story archive.

Finally, I uploaded two more RUS BMR files by Hawkins and corrected the link on the first one so it will actually point to the correct file. Oops. He is doing some good work here and I'm happy to host them.

Product Scans, RUS BMR files, and Combat Support Field Manual
Thanks to Terry French, I now have a couple scans from the Star League sourcebook, one of the rarest books published by FASA. He said he will give me more in the future. I'm waiting with baited breath. ;-)

Hawkins sent me an updated set of BMR files for creating companies, lances, stars, and pilots for RUS, the program by Rick Raisley that does Random Unit Selection from tables and files loaded into it. It is an awesome program, and I recommend it highly. Thanks Hawkins for fixing the tables that were in another BMR set. Those files were entered incorrectly.

Do you use support elements in your BattleTech campaigns? If so, the new Combat Support Field Manual by Boilerman will be your biggest reference in your games. Talking about everything from shipping containers to medical support, this is a one stop shop for information on supporting elements. I hope you enjoy it.

Grey's Shadow's Stories Uploaded
Here are three new stories from one of the best fan factions written about in the BattleTech universe. Better than many official factions, I strongly suggest reading these stories if you never have before. The Concrete Dragons rock. No pun intended. :-)

Vehicle Factory Files Uploaded
I have uploaded several new files for the Vehicle Factory 3 program. They were made by the dudes at BattleTech Mechwarriors Yahoo Group and include all vehicles in all the TROs, Explorer Corps, LosTech, and FM Periphery. Only those versions of vehicles with RACs are missing from these archives as Vehicle Factory does not support them.

HeavyMetal Fun Stuff
The HeavyMetal's Fun Stuff page has dice rollers, BV balancers, Line of Sight Calculators, and a page that creates BV for custom weapons. There are some other things there as well that you may find funny and interesting. All of this comes from the mind of the dude who makes and sells the HeavyMetal line of BattleTech software. He SOOO rocks.

Dragoon's Rating and Contract Negotiator Updated
Their new website appears to have problems with linking to the downloads page, so I played around, got to it, and obtained what program files I could for those two resources. I got Dragoon's Rating Calculater 1.0 and Mercenary Contract Negotiator 3.2, but none of the other versions. Their files were gone and unrecoverable.

Project Phoenix Pictures
I have now uploaded a set of Project Phoenix 'Mech Pictures for you to salivate over. One of the things I love about Project Phoenix is the variant art they put at the end, and this little file has those in it.

Dark Age Pictures
I have uploaded several zip files with CG and miniature images taken from the Dark Age site. They are split into CG and Mini files, and further seperated into Industrial and Battle 'Mech files as appropriate. The 'Mechs can be be found here, while the vehicles are here.

I've uploaded a couple maps, and hope to add more, that I have acquired from other areas. I hope you enjoy the new section.

BattleCorps and Iron Wind Metals Announce New Program
I recently received the following letter from BattleCorps that is most interesting.

With the imminent launch of BattleCorps.com-the best new source for Classic BattleTech® fiction-InMediaRes Productions, LLC unveils plans to offer new miniatures and BattleTech paraphernalia in conjunction with Iron Wind Metals.

The program will launch with a 70mm x 100mm, 2.5 oz metal laser etching of the 20 Year Anniversary Classic BattleTech logo. This will be available for purchase only to BattleCorps subscribers, produced and shipped by Iron Wind Metals. Limited numbers of the logo etching will be awarded throughout 2004 as promotions and prizes at various BattleTech events. An etching of the BattleCorps logo will also be offered only through BattleCorps.com.

New, unique 'Mech variants from IWM, such as the Mad Cat Pryde, Daishi Prometheus, Yen-Lo-Wang and more, will again be available first (and possibly exclusively) through BattleCorps.com! Additionally, players will be able to round out their BattleTech action with the 28mm pilot miniatures packaged with these variants. Each is appropriate to the 'Mech, including Aidan Pryde, Victor Steiner-Davion, Kai Allard-Liao and others!

"I think this is incredible," said Loren Coleman, a founder of InMediaRes Productions. "Both BattleCorps and Iron Wind Metals are utterly devoted to strengthening the community, and what better way to do that than to combine efforts."

In addition, BattleCorps and Iron Wind Metals are sponsoring a truly fantastic BattleTech contest! Once a year, a lucky BattleCorps member will be chosen to be immortalized in metal: IWM will commission a sculpt of his or her favorite 'Mech variant, along with a pilot bearing his or her (or his or her character's) likeness. This phenomenal contest will be open only to subscribers who have earned high community status prior to the start date of the contest! Watch the BattleCorps.com site for more details.

"Everything that BattleCorps and Iron Wind Metals jointly can do to promote the game and universe helps us all," said Mike Noe, President of Iron Wind Metals.

Both companies are exploring additional ways to work together in the future.

InMediaRes Productions, LLC is an electronic publishing company specializing in media tie-in fiction and the strong support of web-based communities. Its first foray is www.battlecorps.com, a Classic BattleTech fiction-based subscription website.

Iron Wind Metals LLC-and its progenitor Ral Partha-have been producing science fiction and fantasy miniatures for over twenty years. They hold, together with Ral Partha Europe, the exclusive rights to their award-winning line of BattleTech miniatures.

BattleTech Logos Redux
The logos have been moved to Graphics page since they work better there. I have also seperated them into categories so you can download just what you want a bit more. If anyone has ranks or logos or anything like that scanned in, I would love to get a hold of them for my own collection, and for upload to P.R.I. as well. I hope you like the stuff I have.

BattleTech Logos
Have you ever wanted to see exactly what patch the 6th Crucis Lancers RCT used? Or how about the 1st Atrean Dragoons or the pantheon of other units seen in the BattleTech universe? Well, I can't promise all of them, but I do have a large collection of images scanned from various BattleTech books that have many units, ranks, and general faction logos. I have uploaded them right here (link changed) on my Graphic page. I hope you enjoy them.

More Stories
Oh yes. Even more stories. Now we have a story by Jacob Marley, another by Kyu Kage, two uploaded into Marwynn's archive, and several stories by the slightly prolific Grey's Shadow. The first, The Other Side of Huntress, is a Grey's Shadows story while the others were several Veiled Republic stories and designs I've been building up. They were uploaded yesterday. I hope you enjoy all the stories on this site. I have fun reading and uploading them for all of you to read.

Mystery 'Mechs and Heromachine
I just uploaded Cray's awesome Mystery 'Mechs From Beyond the Periphery stories, a most amusing read if you ever get the chance. I strongly suggest reading them. Also, Heromachine is coming up on the full version of 2.0 and should be selling by sometime in March if the the schedule holds. This is a VERY good program for creating characters and showing what they look like in any role playing game. I strongly suggest looking at it if you are into role playing.

New Stories and another MechWarrior 3rd Character Generator Update
I just uploaded several Concrete Dragon stories, and one Grinder's Switch story by Grey's Shadow. I hope you enjoy them in case you missed their original showing on the HMP or New Star Software forums. I've also uploaded a new build of the MechWarrior 3rd Character Generator, a program that helps you make characters using the MechWarrior 3rd Point-Based creation system. I hope you enjoy this as well.
