Regstad Pryde

Regstad Pryde was born in 3036 on the world of Andurien during the midst of the succession.  His parents had left the Pryde family estates on Atreus when his grandfather was betrayed and murdered, but soon found themselves out of their element in the chaotic duchy.

By 3038, ten years after The Betrayel, Regstad's family had started a new life on Taurus, the capital of the Taurian Concordat.  As the years past, Regstad studied the long-time family business of war, and at the age of sixteen was accepted into the Taurian Guards.

By 3058, he had received the rank of Sabaltern and the command of a Lance of mechs.  For two years his lance performed picket duty in the New Vandenburg area, where Regstad researched the legendary Vandenburg White Wings heavily, until a Raid Mission into the Federated Commonwealth was organized by late Marshal T-Bolt.

Regstad's lance "Dark Pryde" came out of the raiding mission battered but carrying one crate of new tech weapons, and returned to Taurus to replace their shattered mechs and lost comrade.  Regstad received a promotion and an entire company under his command.

Soon afterwards, a major Davion attack on a border world in response to the raid sent the entire Concordat into hysteria as what they believed to be the long awaited invasion had finally come.  Then without warning, late Marshal T-Bolt's entire personal force measuring a full regiment of 'Mechs simply disappeared and the Davion attacked ended.

Regstad's company was one of the units that disappeared, though he didn't leave quietly.  Taking a Union, a Leapard CV, and a small Scout class jumpship, he returned to rescue the men and women that had been left behind during the raid that had started it all.  Upgraded with new tech purchased from the FWL and St. Ives Compact, the battles were much more even.  Though the garrison forces on planet were able to push him off world, destroying three of his older 'Mechs and one of his precious aerospace fighters, he left with all of his warriors after finding everyone lost in the original raid as well as pulling out a nearly undamaged Marshal class 'Mech that had been in hiding.

Recently, we were able to catch information of him again. Despite rumors that had him in the periphery researching the many mysterious ships seen out there over the last 300 years, he was found by one of our operatives on Acamar, where he played an integral part of the recent fighting on that world. In fact, he is now the commander of the Acamar Militia and the remnants of his company form the core of that force.

It will be interesting to see what happens with him in the future.
