The Raid
In need of high tech equipment, the Marshal heard that a new shipment of equipment was arriving on a nearby world held by the Davion Heavy Guards. A mission was planned to raid the shipment but things came apart soon after landing.
First an assault lance of DHG 'Mechs attacked the Taurion Guards Landing Zone and forced the Union to lift after taking extensive damage.
Then the lance under Regstad's command sent to raid the Spaceport itself was jumped by DHG forces. They returned to the secondary landing zone badly battered but alive with minimal salvage.
The scout lance also ran into a DHG force but was able to retreat after taking minimal damage and meet the dropship before lifting off.
