Overview:

         When the Terran Hegemony first created the IndustrialMech, they envisioned many tasks that the 'Mechs could do that would make things safer for their workers. The WreckerMech was one of the first IndustrialMechs they built and they began using it to tear down buildings in need of demolition. The WreckerMech has continued to perform this function, helping to break up debris into smaller chunks after battles to facilitate in rebuilding, or just helping to bring down an old building.
         The twin saws of the primary configuration and the wrecking ball and flamer of the secondary configuration can be used in combat, but are generally not used as they are very inefficient. Still, there have been some cases when they have been pushed into a fight. During the Jihad on Solaris, a construction team used their WreckerMechs to fight the Word of Blake. Calling themselves "The Wreckers", this motley collection of individuals harassed the Word of Blake, hitting where they were weak and fading away to fight another day. Their cry of "Wreck and Rule!" as they charged into battle is now emblazoned on every arena, so that no one will ever forget their bravery.
